Step 0: Get UL2.0 file from Canopy Extract

Step 1: Login to Engine
Go to Engine Website at https://engine.canopy.cloud and login with your username and password.
Step 2: Go to Data Extraction
From Engine Menu, go to FILE DATA EXTRACTION >> Data Extraction.

Step 3: Upload UL2.0 file into Data Extraction
Select the file you wish to upload by dragging and dropping onto the screen, or you can click the Select files... button to browse and locate file on your computer.
Key in the Parent Account that the file belongs to and click Process.

Step 4: Create a Normalized session
Once the file is processed successfully (indicated by a green tick under Status with Success Message).
Click on the Green Play Button to create a Session for normalized data and you are now ready to do some serious works with it.

Step 5: Enrich your data with Canopy Identifiers
There are 3 Canopy Identifiers that you will need to enrich your data with: Canopy CCY Account, Canopy Transaction Type and Canopy Ticker.
Canopy uses these identifiers to standardize data across multiple financial institutions and eventually performs its magic with the data processed.
